The Denrobium is one of the most common of the orchid species because it regroups at least 1,500 species, all originating in Asia. Rather easy to grow in a humid and warm tropical region, the Dendrobiums produce clusters of flowers that are extraordinarily colored and very thick.
One of the most common and appreciated hybrid varieties is the « Dendrobium udomsri, » whose intense mauve color explodes in magnificent cascades.
