THE MARQUESAS ISLANDS
In 1977, Jacques Brel left the Marquesas Islands for Paris to record his last album, which includes the famous song Les Marquises (The Marquesas Islands). As Jacques Brel was born on 08 April 1929, the Post and Telecommunications Office takes this opportunity to commemorate the 80th anniversary of his birth.
